When you need a clogged drain removed from your sink, tub, or shower, there are a couple of different ways this can be achieved. The most intense and effective way to perform drain cleaning is through hydro jetting, which sends highly pressurized water throughout your pipes. It’s not suitable for all pipes, however, so sometimes drain snaking—sending a long tool with a coil at the end into your pipes—is necessary to manually remove the clog. We don’t recommend chemical drain cleaners because of the damage they can cause to your plumbing system while not fully resolving the issue.
